How We Became Waverly Connect

Waverly Heights, a nonprofit Life Plan Community in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, has announced its acquisition of GrayCare LLC, a care management company that supports families as they make care decisions for loved ones.

Effective July 1, 2022, the business became Waverly Connect and operates as a complementary business to Waverly Care, the community’s private duty, in-home care services.

Waverly Connect provides a comprehensive approach to supporting individuals and their families as they navigate difficult decisions and try to understand the variety of services available.

Care managers will provide information, resources, and ongoing support that is individual to each person.

Heather Reilly, CMC

A Note from Heather:

Each one of us has a story that becomes no less important as we get older. For me, getting to know that story is a gift. Caring for an elderly loved one can be overwhelming and confusing. I like being part of the conversation with families in an era where society as a whole is becoming more aware of what it means to age well. Providing kindness and comfort to people as they age and their families is important work and I feel privileged to have a role in it.

Heather is a Master’s Level Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Care Manager. She’s been a member of the Aging Life Care Association since 2015 and currently serves on the Board for the Mid Atlantic Chapter. As a social worker, she worked primarily with families and children. She has also done extensive volunteering with the elderly. She joined our team in the fall of 2014 and is thrilled to have made the transition to geriatric care. As part of the Waverly Connect team, Heather provides clients facing health and other life challenges with assessment, planning, communication, and support services. Integral to Waverly Connect’s services is tailoring them to clients and their families.
